Dr. Ken McMillan is a 1985 graduate of the University of Illinois. His special interests include orthopedics and knee issues.

He is originally from Illinois but he and his wife, Barb, most recently relocated from Southern California.  They have two dogs, Theobean Winston, a Boston terrier and Walter Myron, a French bulldog. His interests include fishing, kayaking, and collecting pre-war baseball cards. He is also a die hard Chicago Cubs baseball fan.

A former practice owner, Dr. McMillan brings vast experience in small animal medicine to the Pet Paradise family.  He is a member of the AVMA, FMVA, and CVMA.

He looks forward to meeting and helping you and your pet.

Meet Morgan Doak! She started with Pet Paradise in January of 2021! She began with us as a Back of House Supervisor and has quickly found her way to becoming the Resort Manager! Prior to living in Saint Augustine Florida, she was a manager at a dog boarding facility in Richmond, Virginia, for two years. Her heart is set on the pet care industry. She currently has two fur-babies, Ava is a Chihuahua mix that has been with her since 2019 - she was found running loose on a farm! Juno is an Australian Shepard Pitbull mix who she adopted July of 2024 - he is full of so much love and energy!  Outside of work, Morgan loves to paint, adventure around Saint Augustine and listen to music. Morgan's passion is making sure all dogs are treated like her own and she has a particular soft spot for the little fur children! 

Meet Ashley, A native to Saint Augustine. Her passion and love for animals started at a young age. Influenced by her grandmother, who rescued strays over the years. Housing and finding homes for countless fur babies. She has been a part of the pet care industry for 8 years. Starting out as a vet technician and moving her way into management, here in paradise! Every animal is welcomed with kisses and belly rubs. Ashley has a full house with 2 pit bulls, coon hound, dachshund and a cat that rules the house. 

Meet Kimberly O'Nell! She is new to the Pet Paradise family, and brings a lot of knowledge and creativity from her previous restaurant management experience. Born and raised in St. Augustine, FL, she has a love for the outdoors and animals. Kimberly has a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Medicine from St. Andrew's University in North Carolina, where she also played Collegiate Volleyball for 4 years. In her spare time, you can find her reading a good book, tending to her garden of flowers and herbs, or walking with her dog Maverick, a one-year-old Golden Retriever. 

Hello, my names John Rowbo and I’ve been with the Pet Paradise team since October 2021. During this time I’ve learned a lot about the behavior and body language of our fluffy friends. I love being a dog trainer because I get to witness the progress and growth of the dog that I’m working with. As a dog trainer, the most rewarding part is seeing a dog successfully understand a new skill. It’s like completing a puzzle that the dog and I worked on together.

Meet Sarah! You may recognize her from her tenure as the Resort Manager at our St. Johns at World Golf Village location, and before that, Tallahassee! Sarah has been with Pet Paradise since 2017, when she began her professional pet care journey. As a pack leader of 10 pups herself, she is no stranger to dog behavior and training, particularly when it comes to behavioral issues and special circumstance kiddos. Sarah is passionate about training because it holds the key to true communication between dogs and their parents and truly shows how much our four legged friends want nothing more than to please us. Her favorite parts of training are being able to trouble shoot behavioral issues and of course, bonding with the dogs!

Regan has been grooming since 2020! Her favorite thing about grooming is being able to do unique and complex grooms! Her favorite breeds to groom are Poodles and Yorkies but loves any dog that is on her station and wants to make sure they look and feel like a brand-new pup. Before she became a groomer, She was actually a playtime coordinator at the Bartram location, and moved to Colorado to pursue grooming shortly after!
