We believe that safety starts with smart design. Our development team has meticulously planned every detail of our resort locations to provide a secure, worry-free environment for your pet. From the moment they walk through our doors, their well-being is our top priority.

• Optimal Air Circulation: Our state-of-the-art air circulation system ensures a steady flow of fresh air, keeping your pet comfortable and healthy.
• Extra-High Fencing: With 8-foot fences (and some locations featuring 10-foot fences), your pet can explore safely without the risk of escape.
• 24/7 Surveillance: Our resorts are equipped with security cameras so we can always keep an eye on your pet’s safety.
• Advanced Fire Protection: Every location is equipped with sprinkler systems to ensure quick fire response in the unlikely event of an emergency.
• Temperature Alarms: Our resorts have built-in temperature alarms to maintain the perfect climate and alert staff to any sudden changes, ensuring your pet stays in a comfortable environment year-round.

Play Yards

At Pet Paradise, our play yards are what truly make our facility a paradise for your pets! It's where they can socialize, have fun with friends, and burn off energy in a safe and stimulating environment. Here's how we ensure our play yards are secure and enjoyable for every furry guest:

• No toys in group play: To prevent competition or accidental injuries, we keep toys out of group play settings.
• Misting fans & water sprinklers: These keep our play areas cool and comfortable, especially during hot days.
• Carabiners on all gates: For added security, every gate is reinforced with carabiners to prevent accidental openings.
• Synthetic grass: Our synthetic grass is soft on paws, easy to clean, and minimizes the risk of parasites and allergens.
• Size and temperament-based playgroups: We organize dogs by size and activity level, such as large actives or our "Tiny Town" for smaller dogs, ensuring every dog plays safely with suitable companions.
• Shaded areas: Umbrellas and covered sections provide plenty of cool, shaded spots for dogs to relax and stay comfortable.
• Equipped team members: Our trained team members are always prepared with air horns and leashes for immediate intervention and control if needed.

Pool

Our water features are designed for both fun and safety. Here's what we do to ensure a safe and enjoyable swimming experience for your furry friend:

• Life Jacket Requirement: All dogs under 30 pounds are required to wear a life jacket. Every Brachycephalic breed is required to wear a life jacket when swimming, such as Pugs, Boxers, Frenchies or Bulldogs.
• Tiny Town Kiddie Pool: Our smallest guests can splash around safely in our specially designed kiddie pool, perfect for puppies and small breeds.
• Daily Pool Cleaning: We maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, with daily pool cleanings to ensure a hygienic and safe environment for all our visitors. We use dog-safe chlorine in our pools to keep the water clean while being gentle on your pet's skin and eyes.
• Shallow Pool Depth: Our pools are shallower than standard pools, with a maximum depth of 5 feet, providing a safer environment for all dogs. Some locations feature sloped sides, making it easier for dogs to enter and exit the pool.
• Extra Water Features: In addition to our pools, we offer a variety of water features like splash pads, hoses, and additional kiddie pools to keep your pet entertained and cool.

Suites

At Pet Paradise, we know your pet is family, and that's why we've designed our suites to offer the highest level of safety and comfort. From bedding needs to climate control, everything is tailored to ensure a restful, enjoyable stay for your furry friends. Check out why pets love our suites.

• Safe Play, Safe Stay: To ensure every pet’s safety, we do not allow plush or rope toys or rawhide. Instead, we provide high-quality, safe alternatives to keep them entertained.
• Hygiene You Can Trust: Our suites are cleaned daily using hospital-grade cleaning products to maintain a pristine environment.  All suites, floors, bowls and other surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between uses. We only allow new blankets in unopened packaging to be brought in.
• Hydration Anytime: Every pet has unlimited water available at all times. Select locations are equipped with automatic water bowls to ensure pets stay hydrated 24/7.
• Elevated Comfort: Each suite features raised bed cots to keep pets off the ground and feeling cozy.
• Climate Control: Our suites are climate-controlled with ceiling fans for steady air circulation, keeping pets comfortable no matter the season.
• Tailored for Every Dog: With a variety of suite styles, we match each pet’s personality, needs, and temperament to the perfect environment.

Feeding & Medications

We follow strict protocols to ensure their health and well-being throughout their stay, especially when it comes to feeding, medications, and vaccinations.

• Medication Administration: Our trained managers can administer most medications, though we are unable to handle injectable medications. If medications is given, we follow a detailed check-in process to track and manage your pet’s medication needs.
• Feeding Protocol: To ensure your pet’s digestion and safety, dogs are brought into their suites 30 minutes before eating and are required to rest for at least 60 minutes after feeding. This helps prevent issues like bloat and ensures proper digestion.
• Tracking Systems: We meticulously track every meal your pet consumes and, for our feline guests, monitor bathroom use to keep a close eye on their health and habits.
• Special Feeding Requests: We have a fridge, freezer, and microwave available for any specific food storage or preparation needs your pet may have.

Vaccination Requirements

• Mandatory Vaccinations: For the safety of all pets, we have strict vaccine requirements, including rabies, distemper (DAAP), and Bordetella. For cats, we require rabies and FVRCP.
• Vaccination Recommendations: While not required, we strongly recommend canine influenza vaccines to help protect against outbreaks and ensure the health of your pet and others.

Temperament & Safety

To ensure every pet is paired with playmates that match their energy and personality, all new guests at Pet Paradise undergo a temperament test. This personalized approach helps us create a fun, balanced environment where pets can play, relax, and thrive.

• Pets are evaluated based on their size, temperament, age, and breed to create the best playgroups.
• Our trained team members carefully assess each pet to guarantee a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

Our team members are required to go through extensive training that equips them to create a safe, controlled, and happy environment for all of our pet guests. Here is how our team members keep pups safe during their time at Pet Paradise.

• Hourly Walk-Throughs: Regular checks of all suites to monitor pets and ensure their safety throughout the day.
• Dog Behavior Training: Team members are trained to recognize key behaviors, from interactions with other dogs and people to early signs of illness.

Managing Rough Play:

• Leashing: Safely separating dogs when needed.
• Time-Outs & Redirection: Calming pets with gentle guidance and allowing the dog to settle down.
• Air Horns & Whistles: All team members have these on them at all times. These can effectively used to safely break up rough play.
• Wheelbarrow Method: A safe technique for separating dogs during escalated play.
